Along with drawing on the resources of Holborn Assets, one of The UAE’s leading independent intermediaries, Ross Mills brings fourteen years of experience in financial services.
Prior to this Ross served in the British Army for 14 years in various area’s and roles with the 1st Battalion King’s Own Royal Border Regiment (1 KORBR).
Ross has specialised in addressing the financial planning needs of a broad range of clients both individual and collectively. He has attained a detailed knowledge of both European and International providers and the range of products available as well as the secure, tax-friendly structures that can assist in asset building, asset protection and, ultimately, estate planning and he currently has clients all around the world.
As an independent adviser, Ross provides you with the advantage of unbiased financial planning advice. In making recommendations he has access to a comprehensive range of the world’s most respected international banking, investment management and insurance institutions, bringing clients the competitive advantages and convenience of being able to access multiple managers and product providers through one source.
Fees
There are no consulting fees for providing you with advice or on-going service. Holborn Assets receives industry-standard arrangement fees directly from the financial institutions with whom we place our clients’ business - not directly from our clients. Furthermore, our on-going remuneration is performance-related so we share in a long-term incentive for your financial success.
Clients
Clients have varied needs, but typically either have disposable income they wish to invest regularly towards their medium to long-term goals, or have accrued capital they would like to invest for growth. Clients are only introduced to Ross by personal introduction (referral by existing clients), or by means of professional introduction (financial institutions, employer Human Resources departments or by professional service providers such as accountants, lawyers, trust managers or relocation specialists).
Ross works with clients of all ages, wealth and including fellow investment professionals and financial academics. It is a well-established principle that people from all walks of life who plan for their goals are far more likely to reach them than those who don’t!
Qualifications and Professional Memberships
Ross has fourteen years experience in the offshore financial services arena, working for a number of the worlds leading offshore brokerages Ross has held various roles ranging from Sales Management through to Independent Financial Advisor advising clients on their holistic financial planning needs and is currently a Senior Associate with Holborn Assets.
As well as academic qualifications Ross holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Financial Planning (FPC) and is currently studying for The Investment Management Certificate through the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and places professionalism, integrity and a high standard of client service at the top of his priorities.
